1The Extension

Saigon Safe is a password manager browser extension that serves as a frontend replacement built from a fork of Bitwarden software. It is intended to help you access, manage, and use password manager features through your browser.

Saigon Safe is not a standalone password-management service. The extension relies on Bitwarden backend services to operate, including account, synchronization, vault, and related server-side functionality.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the extension or any part of it at any time.

2Eligibility

You may use the extension only if you are legally permitted to do so in your jurisdiction and are capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you use Saigon Safe on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3Accounts, Credentials, and Vault Data

You are responsible for your account credentials, master password, authentication devices, recovery methods, and the security of the devices and browsers on which you use the extension.

Because Saigon Safe relies on Bitwarden backend services, your vault data, account records, synchronization state, and related service data may be stored, processed, transmitted, or otherwise handled through Bitwarden services and infrastructure rather than by us directly.

You are solely responsible for deciding what data to store in your vault and for maintaining any backups, exports, or recovery information you consider necessary.

4No Analytics or Usage Numbers Collected by Us

We do not use Saigon Safe itself to collect analytics data or usage numbers for our own measurement of how you use the extension.

However, your browser, operating system, extension store, network provider, and Bitwarden services may independently collect, process, log, or retain data under their own terms, privacy policies, and technical practices. We do not control those third-party data practices.

5Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Saigon Safe to:

1. Violate any applicable law, regulation, or court order.
2. Attempt unauthorized access to any account, vault, device, network, or service.
3. Interfere with, overload, disrupt, or impair Bitwarden services, browser platforms, or any related systems.
4. Use the extension to facilitate phishing, credential theft, fraud, malware distribution, or any other harmful or deceptive conduct.
5. Reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the extension except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it.
6. Circumvent access controls, security features, licensing restrictions, or service limits.

6Third-Party Services and Bitwarden Dependency

Saigon Safe depends on third-party software, infrastructure, and services, including Bitwarden backend services and browser platform components.

Your use of Bitwarden services may also be subject to Bitwarden's own terms, privacy policy, security practices, service limits, and operational changes. If a third-party provider changes, suspends, or discontinues its service, Saigon Safe may stop working or may work only in a limited way.

We are not responsible for the availability, content, performance, security, or data-handling practices of third-party services.

7Intellectual Property

The Saigon Safe name, branding, interface changes, and any original modifications we provide are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Saigon Safe may also include or be based on open-source software and third-party components that remain subject to their respective licenses and notices.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the extension for personal or internal business purposes.

8Updates, Availability, and Compatibility

We may release updates, patches, fixes, or changes at any time. Updates may be necessary for security, compatibility, legal compliance, browser changes, or changes to Bitwarden services.

We do not guarantee that Saigon Safe will be available at all times or that it will remain compatible with every browser, operating system, account configuration, or Bitwarden backend change.

9Your Security Responsibilities

Password-management software can reduce risk, but it cannot eliminate it. You are responsible for using a strong master password, enabling additional security features when available, securing your devices, and reviewing your own account activity.

You should not rely on Saigon Safe as your only security control or as a substitute for your own backup, recovery, access-management, or incident response practices.

10Disclaimers

Saigon Safe is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, reliability, and error-free operation.

We do not warrant that the extension will always be secure, uninterrupted, compatible, or free from bugs, or that any credential, vault item, sync event, or security setting will be preserved without loss, corruption, delay, or unauthorized access.

11Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of access, account compromise, business interruption, or lost profits arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use Saigon Safe.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Saigon Safe or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us for Saigon Safe in the twelve months before the claim arose; or (b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Avo Dating LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:

1. Your use of Saigon Safe.
2. Your stored data, credentials, or vault use.
3. Your violation of these Terms.
4. Your violation of any law or third-party right.

13Termination

You may stop using Saigon Safe at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the extension if you violate these Terms, if required by law, if required by a browser platform or store, or if continued operation is no longer commercially or technically feasible.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution.

14Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by updating the effective date, posting notice through the extension listing, or using another reasonable method.

Your continued use of Saigon Safe after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

15Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

16Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue available legal remedies.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Saigon Safe will be brought in the courts located in Washington, United States, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
